Job Overview:
The Mental Health Screener will be responsible for screening referrals for Psychological and Psychiatric services for all Children's Specialized Hospital locations. The Screener interviews referral sources, answers questions, and obtains information to assist in determining the need for services
Qualifications:
Required:
Masters degree in psychology or related field, such as social workExcellent communication, interpersonal skills, customer service, and organizational skillsFamiliarity and comfort with electronic medical records and MS Office suitePreferred:
Familiarity and knowledge of childhood diagnoses, DSM 5, and psychological testing Knowledge of community resourcesSpecial consideration given to candidates who are bilingual in English and SpanishScheduling Requirements:
