The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate s educational background, skills and professional experience. Job Overview: Provides clinical assessment, crisis intervention, evaluations for hospitalization, and crisis service coordination primarily for children, adolescents and their families, within the context of the Children s Crisis Intervention Services (CCIS) system. Will also secondarily cover assessment and screening of adults, as indicated. Is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas) and medical errors, etc. Qualifications: Required: + MA/MS degree in social work, psychology or related field. + Must possess and maintain a valid N.J. State Drivers License. + BLS required within three (3) months of hire. + Must be able to work in stressful situations. + Individuals hired be eligible to obtain their Temporary Screening Certification Number upon hire and must obtain their permanent number with one (1) year Preferred: + Two years of prior experience/training working with children, adolescents and families in a mental health setting strongly preferred. + Experience/training in crisis intervention and assessment strongly preferred.
