Hiring Unit:

Athletics and Recreation

Position Summary:

Under the direction of the immediate supervisor, the incumbent is expected to lead practice sessions/tryouts, be present for scrimmages/competitions, communicate with the club leadership team, help construct the team roster, and build the team identity for the men's competitive volleyball club.

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop physical/mental skills and provide tactical strategiesLead PracticesFoster Team IdentityBe present for all scrimmages and competitionsCommunicate/meet with the Club Leadership TeamHelp construct the team roster and lead tryouts

Skills/Abilities:

Level 1 coaching certification or past experience preferredKnowledge of French and English. McGill University is an English-language university where day-to-day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing.

Minimum Education and Experience:

High School Diploma 3 Years Related Experience

Hourly Salary:

(AMUSE D) $25.00

Estimated Number of Work Hours per Week:

6 (Part time)
