**Minimum qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Operations, or equivalent practical experience.
+ 4 years of experience in qualification program management and supply chain operations.
**Preferred qualifications:**
+ MBA or Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
+ Experience in memory qualification program management.
+ Excellent communication and project management skills.
Commodity Managers work with Engineering teams to make sure Google has the supplies and equipment to put into production the innovative products coming from our Engineering teams. As a Commodity Manager, you use your wide industry knowledge and strategic supplier relationships to optimize our total cost of ownership for our global -- and growing -- infrastructure. The scale at which Google operates means that savings on just one piece of hardware can have a huge impact on Google's bottom line.
In this role, you will develop commodity strategies and execute on them. You will lead cross-functional teams through the supplier selection process for new platforms/components. You will conduct business discussions and secure comprehensive agreements with suppliers. You'll maintain a high level of industry expertise and supplier/market conditions, and manage supplier performance in cost, quality, delivery, and technology alignment. You will propose and implement supply chain improvements.

**Responsibilities:**
+ Manage High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) qualification programs for new and sustaining products, including prioritizing schedules, tracking progress, and mitigating risks.
+ Develop global supply plans by combining forecasts and serve as the primary interface for memory suppliers to manage quality, sample builds, and production.
+ Oversee the introduction of new memory technologies by managing new part number creation, procuring qualification samples, and leading technology transitions.
+ Direct operational logistics for qualifications, including material movement in labs, Return Merchandise Authorization. processing, and efficient inventory utilization to maintain schedules.
+ Lead status meetings and provide regular reports to stakeholders on qualification progress and production readiness to ensure cross-functional alignment.
