Memory Care Director

Responsibilities:

Designs and facilitates the Community Memory Care program, promoting active participation from residents, family members, and team members Oversees the budget and implementation of a cost-effective Memory Care program, including managing an inventory list of equipment and supplies and maximizing resources available Creates and sustains a welcoming and safe environment which promotes resident wellness and independence Participates in the resident move-in process through initial wellness assessments and the development of individualized care plans Trains, schedules, and leads the Memory Care clinical team in providing exceptional care experiences, providing hands-on support, education and training opportunities Delivers health promotion services and dementia care education services for residents and families Engages with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience Contributes toward quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives Coordinates the Community’s infection control program while maintaining state regulatory compliance
