Our client, a mission-driven nonprofit, is seeking a Meetings & Accreditation Specialist to join their team. This is a temp-to-perm role ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented, and mission-aligned professional with strong meeting logistics experience.
About the Job:
Manage logistics for national and regional meetings, ensuring smooth planning and execution.
Coordinate all accreditation processes.
Support volunteer committees by managing scheduling, materials, and follow-up actions.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure program success.
Provide on-site support at meetings and events as needed.
About You:
3+ years of experience in meeting planning, event coordination, or accreditation management.
Nonprofit or association background preferred.
Excellent organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Willingness to travel for 3-4 events per year (air travel).
About the Position:
Pay: $27-$31/hr DOE; $57K-$65K annually upon conversion.
Hours: 9:00 AM-5:00 PM.
Hybrid: On-site 1x/week in Old Town Alexandria for the first few weeks, then as needed.
Some on-site parking available.
