Event Planner is responsible for all elements of the end-to-end management of an event, including sourcing, logistics, financial management and delivery.

The person will manage the process from Meeting Qualification call and initial venue proposal to post project financial reconciliation, respecting customer and American Express Meeting & Events standards, procedures and policies.

Apart from pharma Event Planner also may work on a range of client account types and teams including Strategic Meetings Management (SMM) Clients or Ad hoc / Event by Event (EBE)/ MICE Clients.

What You’ll Be Doing:

End to End National and/ or international project managementRun own events, including larger complex meetings·Managing multiple meetings simultaneouslySupplier management - negotiate and execute supplier deals and contracts·Manage and develop new and existing client relationshipsAct as a primary liaison between the client, suppliers and internal teamOperational management of the event databaseAccurate and timely data managementLogistical coordination of the eventBudget management – manage large/complex budgets, maintain working versions, process supplier and client invoices, manage cash flow and payment schedulesAnalytical Reasoning – using analysis of today’s meeting data for future event deliveryFinancial and Data Report creation per event, per clientPolicy managementAdditional duties as requestedOnsite event assistance (if required)

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in event managementCompleted Bachelor’ s degree in tourism or a related economic fieldFluent Business English (C1 – level)Additional languages are a benefit to the roleDriving License -B category (preferred but not mandatory)Proficiency in Microsoft Office SoftwareHave some experience with CRM systems – data entry, eRFP, reporting, budgetAdvantage: Cvent and Canva knowledgeCustomer care excellenceHigh level of attention to detailFlexibility and ability to adaptAble to work well in a TeamUsed to working under pressure
