Job Responsibilities:

Serves as a corporate consulting resource on matters associated with the selection and application of technology or business processes to positively impact the business, operating, and technology strategies of the corporation. Develops business cases that show why or why not these initiatives should be undertaken to all levels of senior management.Formulates policy decisions on the adoption, application, and enhancement of technology or business processes to support the corporate strategies.Leads corporate division and enterprise initiatives to re-engineer technology or business processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness, executing the IT strategies and direction set by the IT Leadership Team.  Directs other business and IT managers to see initiatives through to closure: either by completing the project and transitioning to an operational function, or by terminating the effort. Performs knowledge transfer, coaching, and guidance to transition the resulting solution to operational staff.Proactively assesses and monitors projects, uncovers risks and provides resolution or alternatives through influence, persuasion and coaching of project sponsor and other key stakeholders.Tracks and reports key functional metrics on technology and business processes to identify potential expense reductions or improved effectiveness.Communicates on a regular basis with all levels of Business and/or IT management to advise on process or technical issues.Leads cross-functional teams and creates an environment that promotes the exchange of information between the business, IT and external source providers.  Provides cross-training and back-up to other team members for confidential customer presentations or C-level meetings. Includes support activities to attendees as well as internal and external presenters.Contributes to, and may participate in, the performance evaluation decisions of individuals assigned to their activities.The above statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed in this job.  They are not intended to be an exhaustive list of duties and indeed additional responsibilities may be assigned, as required, by management.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in management information systems, business administration, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or related professional work experience.Minimum of four years’ IT experience.Demonstrated superior knowledge in industry standard business and technology process best practices, tools and methodologies.Possesses significant, expert knowledge of the IT industry and third-party service providers, and preferably of the financial services industry.Demonstrated strong executive-level communication skills including strong interpersonal skills (listening, speaking and probing).Significant experience in achieving positive results among staff at all levels of the organization through demonstrated ability in developing consultative relationships and working collaboratively, utilizing influence, persuasion, leadership, negotiation, and group facilitation skills.Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with Business and IT management on business matters blending technical and non-technical perspectives.Demonstrated superior problem solving and organizational skills.Demonstrated ability to mitigate risks proactively and resolve issues.Demonstrated successful experience with managing partner and vendor relationships.Self-directed with ability to start from a blank page without guidance.

Additional Requirements:
 

Hybrid Event Production / Network Video Audio:Demonstrated proficiency in the last three years in at least one of the following:Configuration and management of large enterprise meeting room technologies;Large-scale hybrid event production;Network-based video and audio systems experience.This is an on-site role requiring presence at our Madison, WI location

Compensation may vary based on the job level, your geographic work location, position incentive plan and exemption status.

 

Base Salary Range:

$97,800.00 - $146,800.00
