Project Description: The Office of Food Chemical Safety, Dietary Supplements, and Innovation, a newly established office within the FDA’s Human Foods program, is responsible for overseeing food chemical safety, dietary supplements, and fostering innovation in the human foods sector. As part of its mission, OFCSDSI regularly conducts public meetings or webinars to engage with stakeholders, gather input on regulatory matters, and disseminate important information to the public. While the FDA can provide regulatory and scientific experts for these events, there is a need for professional support to handle the logistical and administrative aspects of organizing and executing these public meetings and webinars. This support is crucial to ensure that these events are well-organized, efficiently run, and effectively achieve their intended goals. Job Summary: The scope of this project encompasses comprehensive meeting and webinar support services for Human Food Program public meetings and webinars. Responsibilities: + Provide Project Management and technical writing support to the FDA business leads in preparation of the public meeting. + Contractor staff will draft and disseminate scientific materials for targeted audience prior to the meeting and provide post event documentation (e.g., scientific meeting notes). + Design professional event materials including agendas, handouts, and presentation templates using FDA’s visual identity documentation. + Provide compliance review of deliverables to ensure adherence to FDA branding guidelines and Section 508 accessibility requirements. + They will provide all other professional services as defined in the project scope. Require Experience: + Experience supporting publications, internal, and external communications for the FDA or another federal agency. Preferred Experience: + Experience supporting FDA public meetings and workshops. + Experience with Human Food Programs and/or product approval process at the FDA. Education & Training: + Masters (STEM) Salary Range: + $43-58/hr + Salary commensurate with experience.
