Meeting & Air Consultant (MAC)

Full time/Part time, Netherlands

Remote, 1x per week at EHQ in Hilversum

 

As a Meeting & Air Consultant (MAC), you’ll be the go-to expert for all things related to participant services, travel coordination, and event logistics. You’ll work closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure every meeting or event runs smoothly from start to finish.

 

As a Meeting & Air Consultant, you will 

Lead weekly program meetings with updates on approvals, budgets, client feedback, and open issues. Act as the main point of contact for participant-related services. Maintain a deep understanding of client programs and stay up to date on all changes. Support intake requests and manage registration tools (e.g., C-Vent) and integrations with Concur. Advise on budget compliance and flag any concerns. Manage group bookings, block space, and charter manifests. Provide expertise on MICE, group, and public airfares. Collaborate with airlines to resolve issues and advocate for travelers. Ensure accuracy and completeness of meeting data. Train team members on data entry and maintain SOPs. Recommend and implement process improvements. Qualify meeting details and assign tasks to the appropriate team members. Support the traveler approval process to ensure timely and successful event delivery.

 

About you 

Experience in the MICE industry or a similar role is a plus Familiarity with tools like C-Vent and Concur is a plus. Strong communication skills in English (Dutch is a bonus). Detail-oriented, client-focused, and solution-driven. Able to work independently and adapt quickly to change. Sabre knowledge is required
