Position Summary:

We are seeking a courteous, dependable, and experienced Valet Parking Attendant to join our hospital team. The ideal candidate will have prior hospital valet experience, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and provide a welcoming first impression to patients, visitors, and staff. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required to ensure clear communication with our diverse community.

Pay:  $18.50 an hour

The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position.   A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. 

 Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30PM

Key Responsibilities:

Greet patients, visitors, and staff with professionalism and compassion. Safely park and retrieve vehicles in a timely and efficient manner. Assist individuals with mobility needs, including opening doors and providing directions. Maintain a clean and organized valet area. Communicate effectively with hospital staff and valet team members. Handle keys and vehicles responsibly, ensuring security and safety. Provide exceptional customer service, especially in high-stress or sensitive situations. Report any incidents, damages, or concerns to the supervisor immediately. Uphold hospital policies and HIPAA confidentiality standards.

Qualifications:

Previous hospital valet experience strongly preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to operate both automatic and manual (stick shift) vehicles preferred; willingness to learn is acceptable. Must be able to stand, walk, and run for extended periods. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to work in various weather conditions.
