NY State License Clinical Laboratory Technologist Duties: * Performs laboratory tests relevant to the section(s) in which they are assigned including quality control testing following established criteria. * In addition, performs clerical and computer related activities and phlebotomy with a degree of supervision dependent on experience and training. This individual interacts with patients of all ages. Education: * Bachelor’s degree in laboratory related area. * Licensure/Registration/Certification: ASCP preferred Work Experience: One year full time or equivalent hospital experience including phlebotomy.Working Conditions: Manual: significant manual skills/motor coord & finger dexterity Occupational: Some occupational risk Physical Effort: Medium to Heavy effort.
