Job Overview: The Medical Laboratory Scientist MLS in the Microbiology Laboratory performs complex laboratory testing on clinical specimens to aid in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of infectious diseases. The MLS applies professional knowledge, technical skills, and established protocols to ensure accurate, reliable, and timely test results. This role contributes directly to patient care and supports infection prevention efforts through quality microbiological analysis. Qualifications: Required: + Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, Microbiology, or related field required. + Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Technologist by ASCP MLS-ASCP or MT-ASCP.
