To strengthen our team, we are looking to fill the position of Medical Science Liaison - Rheumatology (Rio de Janeiro, RJ/ Belo Horizonte, MG / Brasília - DF).
Key Activities:
Agile and proactive identification and management of key scientific and medical influencers based on local ecosystem dynamics and stakeholder needs and drivers (from push to pull)
Exploration and identification of new sources of patient value (innovative solutions and services)
Manage and generate product/ disease state data (IIS, audits, RWE etc.)
Support clinical studies, clinical development and share insights with Medical Solutions Team and Scientific Lead
Serving as the leading local scientific expert within specific TA
Supporting market access colleagues when applicable in presentation of RWE/HEOR/clinical information to regional and local payer accounts and formularies
Key Deliverables:
Partners with key stakeholders to advance medical initiatives, in defined strategic areas, to drive optimal patient care.
Partner with other stakeholders like payers, patient organizations and patients might be relevant depending on the available resources within local organization.
Provides scientific expertise and interpretation to strategic initiatives in collaboration with other local Partner roles
Shares insights, innovation opportunities and patient needs internally to the PVU and New Meds
Capitalizes on RWE and uses them to further reinforce the value that UCB solutions bring to patients.

Enabling medical roles ( Scientific Lead)
Part of local / regional multidisciplinary team
Local affiliate governance committees
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Life sciences, pharmacy, or medicine, etc…
Desirable Master’s and Ph.D;
Experience in MSL position in Immunology;
Fluent English;
Pharmaceutical industry experience is mandatory.
