Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/innovative-medicine **We are searching for the best talent for** **a Medical Science Liaison.** The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) Lung Cancer within our Medical Affairs (MAF) BeLux team is are responsible for discussing our products, studies and results and providing fair balanced, objective, scientific information and education to health care professionals and to your colleagues as required by scientific and business needs. This role will focus on the French speaking part of Belgium and Luxembourg. + Has external focus and has the capability to discuss scientific content on a peer-to-peer level with leading specialists. + Has the responsibility to collect external insights during the interactions and use these insights to inform the medical affairs/Core Value Team strategy. + demonstrates strategic territory planning and be accountable for the execution of the activities described in the MAF tactical plan. + Is scientific and clinical specialist on current and future J&J products for the treatments in Lung Cancer. + Is responsible for staying up to date of current scientific and treatment landscape trends in therapeutic areas of interest and organize educational events. + Will interact extensively and collaborate closely with the Medical Advisor and the other MSL in the therapeutic area. **Must haves** : + Scientific degree: Medical Doctor, Pharmacist or degree in biomedical/scientific sciences (PhD is an additional asset, but not required) + Fluent in French (native or perfectly bilingual) & English (Dutch would be a plus) + Scientific Acumen: are able to acquire in-depth scientific and/or therapeutic knowledge of Oncology in a short period of time + Previous experience (at least 2 years) in a pharma company as MSL or in field + Previous experience in set-up and roll-out of (medical) educational events and projects + Business and strategic acumen + Good understanding of the Belgian health care environment and dynamics + Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills, ability to prioritize and innovative attitude + Able to work in a team and independently with focus on open, clear and collaborative relationships, aligned on common goals **Nice to haves:** + Proven knowledge of Oncology (Lung cancer is a plus) + Established network in Oncology (preferably with Pneumo-oncologists)
