Your Role: 

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for EMD Serono is responsible for providing scientific and educational support, cultivating relationships with key opinion leaders, representing EMD Serono at medical events, and coordinating medical initiatives regionally and nationally. The role involves extensive regional travel and requires advanced scientific knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain collaborative relationships.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Provide scientific, clinical, and educational support to thought leaders and decision-makersCultivate and maintain relationships with Key Thought LeadersDisseminate state-of-the-art research and medical concepts related to cancer treatmentLead Medical Affairs activities in the assigned regionRepresent EMD Serono at medical events and conventionsCommunicate research and development concepts to internal stakeholdersCoordinate with Clinical Development and Medical Affairs for clinical research studiesAct as a liaison for Investigator Sponsored Studies (ISS) programMaintain visitation records for the territoryMonitor budget expenditures and ensure compliant use of field materialDemonstrate EMD Serono's values, behaviors, and high impact culture

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

PharmD, PhD, MD, DO, or equivalent educationEnglish language competencyExcellent communication and networking skillsAbility to maintain collaborative relationships within a dynamic team environmentComfortable with extensive regional travelReside within or near the assigned territory, or willing to relocate

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years clinical or pharmaceutical experience in OncologyPrior experience as a field medical science liaison (required for Sr. MSL role)

Assigned Region: New York and New Jersey

 

Pay range for this position:  $137,000 -  $205,500

Our ranges are derived from several sources, and largely reliant on relevant industry market data. Should we decide to make an offer, we will consider several factors, including but not limited to your location, skills, experience, career level, and other job-related factors.  This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; paid time off; and paid holidays; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses.
