\nMedical Review Auditor Analyst (Remote - Charlotte Area)

\nJob Summary:
\nConduent is seeking an experienced Medical Review Auditor Analyst to join our team. This individual will work closely with our hospital-clients and internal stakeholders, utilizing industry/proprietary tools to ensure that audits are conducted successfully. You will be working remotely within the Charlotte area, with occasional travel required. You’ll report directly to the Sr. Operations Manager.
\nWork Schedule: Monday – Friday, first (1st) shift. This is an exempt/salaried position with benefits starting on your first day of employment.
\nResponsibilities:
\n\n Auditing medical bills for unrelated charges, overpayments/reimbursements, and overall accuracy.\n Assessing payments against regulatory or administrative charges, coding, and billing errors to identify inaccuracies in billing or reimbursement.\n Conducting medical audits using methodologies to identify healthcare overpayments and underpayments to providers.\n Applying knowledge of provider billing and patient accounting systems to ensure accurate research for potential overpayments.\n Developing, maintaining, and ensuring adherence to client policies, regulations, and guidelines.\n Performing other tasks as directed by management.\n\nRequirements:
\n\n Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or related fields is highly desired, but not required. Ten (10) years of hospital billing experience may substitute for a degree.\n Must have hospital business office experience.\n Strong mathematical skills to perform audits accurately.\n Excellent customer service skills with the ability to collaborate with teams across the USA to ensure success and customer satisfaction.\n Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry-specific software.\n Experience in an auditing role, healthcare industry, or insurance is highly desired but not required.\n Experience in industries such as Accounting, Finance, or Healthcare Administration is a plus.\n Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.\n Must be self-sufficient and able to work independently without constant supervision.\n Comfortable working remotely and occasionally onsite at client locations or hospitals.\n Strong communication skills (interpersonal, written, and verbal).\n Must be dependable and willing to travel as required.\n Must have a valid driver’s license.\n\nFlexible Working

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position may be eligible for bonuses or incentives. Conduent offers a variety of benefits including health insurance, dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is ($57,750 - $75,000)
