Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and patient-focused Practice Support Associate to join our Urology team. This role is essential to ensuring smooth front-office operations and delivering exceptional service to our patients. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable managing a high volume of patient interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Patient Communication: Handle a high volume of incoming and outgoing patient calls with professionalism and empathy.
• Front Desk Operations: Manage patient check-ins and check-outs, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
• Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, follow-ups, and procedures.
• Authorization Management: Process prior authorizations for imaging and diagnostic services.
• Document Handling: Scan, upload, and manage patient documents within the electronic medical record system.
• Collaboration: Work closely with clinical staff and providers to support patient care and office efficiency.

Skills and Requirements
• Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred.
• Familiarity with prior authorization processes and EMR systems (Epic is a plus)
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in medical administration is a plus. null
