Setting: Outpatient Imaging Clinic

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (occasional Saturdays/overtime)

Compensation: $30.00 – $40.00/hour (based on experience)

🩺 About the Role

As a Medical Radiology Technologist, you’ll perform general radiography, DEXA scans, and OR-based C-arm imaging in a high-quality, patient-centered environment. You’ll collaborate with physicians, nurses, and fellow techs to ensure accurate imaging and optimal patient care, while contributing to the smooth operation of a respected radiology department.

🧰 Key Responsibilities

Interpret and execute imaging orders with precision

Prepare, position, and comfort patients for procedures

Operate advanced radiologic equipment (C-arms, DEXA, general X-ray units)

Follow ALARA principles and maintain sterile technique in OR settings

Review images for quality and diagnostic accuracy

Document work via PACS, RIS, and EMS systems

Maintain clean, organized work areas and perform equipment QA

Support interdisciplinary care with strong teamwork and communication

Ensure compliance with SUNY, NYS DOH, and DNV guidelines

🎓 Required Qualifications

Associate’s Degree in Medical Radiography

ARRT certification and valid NYS Radiologic Technologist license

BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross)

2+ years of experience in radiologic technology

Background in outpatient or surgical imaging preferred
