Medical Pre-Certification Clerk
**Manpower is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused** **Pre-Certification Clerk** **to join a dynamic Pre-Service Center team in a hospital environment. This role ensures all administrative and insurance-related requirements are completed prior to patient services.** **Key Responsibilities:** + Schedule and pre-register patients using electronic systems. + Verify insurance coverage and obtain pre-certifications and authorizations. + Coordinate with patients, physicians, and departments to ensure accurate documentation. + Collect and document co-pays, deductibles, and deposits. + Maintain accurate patient demographic and billing information. + Scan and manage insurance cards, IDs, and medical orders. + Uphold confidentiality and safety standards at all times. **Qualifications:** + High school diploma or equivalent required. + Business, computer, or medical terminology training preferred. + Prior experience in a hospital or office setting is a plus. + Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills. + Ability to handle sensitive situations with tact and professionalism. **Physical Requirements:** + Frequent sitting, standing, walking, and light lifting (up to 24 lbs). + Manual dexterity and visual acuity required for data entry and document handling. **Core Values:** + Compassion, hospitality, respect, collaboration, integrity, and accountability. **Who is Manpower?** Locally owned but globally connected, Manpower is a full-service staffing and recruiting company.
