Teksystems is currently hiring for a Medical Office Assistant in the Reisterstown, MD area! MUST HAVE: 2-3 years of medical office assistant experience! Description Will be utilizing EPIC software to schedule patients Greet patients and customers as they enter the practice Answer phones Will be sitting at the front desk Will be getting pre-authorizations for insurance for patients before them come in for surgeries, appointments, check ups Will be calling Dr offices/hospitals for pre-op results Will be verifying insurance on a daily basis Must be very knowledgeable in insurance companies and the process Additional Skills & Qualifications Must have at least high school diploma IDEAL will have at least 1+ years of medical front desk/secretary or back office/MA experience Previous EPIC experience is preferred If they dont have EPIC they will be trained on it Must have great customer service skills Must be comfortable working in a high volume DR office Must be familiar with insurance/pre-auth process Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
