As a clinic nurse, you will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide quality, patient-centered care. You will use your nursing assessment skills and clinical protocol knowledge to make informed decisions and deliver safe, efficient care. Responsibilities include assessment, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of care plans in collaboration with the care team.

What You Will Do:Perform patient assessments and telephone triageAdhere to infection prevention guidelinesProvide individualized patient and caregiver educationCommunicate with ordering providers and care teamsManage side effects and medication refillsSupport patients through the oncology care continuumCore Skills Required:Communication: Effectively communicates with patients, families, and colleaguesCompassion: Demonstrates compassionate, patient-centered careCritical Thinking: Analyzes and evaluates clinical informationPrioritization: Continuously prioritizes patient care needsNursing Process: Applies assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluationSafe Care: Uses two patient identifiers for all careResource Utilization: Applies policies, procedures, and clinical resourcesTime Management: Manages patient assignments holisticallyDelegation: Delegates tasks appropriately while maintaining accountabilityWhat You Will Need:Graduation from a NLN or AACN accredited nursing programBSN required or enrollment in a BSN program (completion within 4 years of hire)Valid RN license in the State of MichiganONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Provider CardBLS Provider CardOncology Nursing Certification (preferred)Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in oncology careExperience with EPIC EMR (preferred)Oncology experience strongly preferredApplication Instructions:
