Medical Manager Oncology
**About the Job** **Our team/ Overview** The Oncology Medical Team drives innovation in patient care through innovative therapies for oncology and onco-hematology diseases. We collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including HCPs, regulatory authorities, and industry partners, to provide scientific expertise and support medical strategy development. With a strong focus on excellence, collaboration, and innovation, we contribute to advancing treatments and improving patient outcomes, aligning with the company’s mission to transform the lives of patients with cancer. **Main responsibilities** **Development and Implementation of the Medical Strategy** - Define and execute the medical strategy for oncology in alignment with global objectives. - Stay up to date with scientific advancements and evolving medical needs to optimize patient access to treatment. **Scientific Support and Medical Training** - Provide scientific support to internal stakeholders including, regulatory affairs, market access, and commercial teams, while ensuring compliance with ethical and medical guidelines. - Conduct medical training sessions for new hires and external stakeholders to enhance their understanding and expertise of oncology and the company’s therapeutic solutions. **Scientific Support in the Management of Projects and Real-World Evidence (RWE) Studies :** Contribute to the scientific management of projects and Real-World Evidence (RWE) studies, ensuring alignment with medical and regulatory requirements. **Provide Medical support and collaborate with cross-functional departments, to support new launches** **Management and Implementation of Diagnostic Projects** - Participate in the implementation and management of ongoing diagnostic projects across the country, ensuring their alignment with global guidance. - Contribute to the expansion and optimization of existing diagnostic programs, while supporting the implementation of new projects based on strategic priorities. **MCO Medical Leadership in Onco-hematology** - Provide strategic guidance and scientific expertise for Onco-hematology across Africa to ensure the successful development of initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes. **Requirements/Qualifications** **Experience** · 5 to 8 years industry experience (including medical affairs field or office) and/or clinical experience, ideally with relevant TA experience. **Education** · Doctorate level education: MD · or equivalent Medical degree preferred, PhD or PharmD **Soft skills** + Ability to act independently with a solutions-oriented and balanced approach to uncertainty and complex situations + Excellent communication skills including the ability to lead scientific discussions and interact effectively with cross-functional teams + Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to anticipate challenges and proactively address them **Technical skills** + Strong scientific expertise in rare diseases, including deep understanding of disease pathways, treatment landscapes, and evolving clinical guidelines + Experience in scientific engagement, ensuring meaningful exchange with HCPs and key stakeholders to drive disease awareness. + Ability to effectively and compliantly share medical insights across cross-functional teams, contributing to patient-centric strategies. + Confidence in using omnichannel tools and adapting communication strategies. + Understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, including regulatory frameworks, patient access pathways, and medical affairs best practices. **Languages** English : Professional fluency required for internal and external communication French : Fluent **Pursue** **_progress_** **, discover** **_extraordinary_** Better is out there.
