Our nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow, to keeping adult bodies strong and active. As the **Medical Manager** you will execute complex or specialized projects. Present solutions to situations related to medical issues, including innovative ways. Relationships with thought leaders and medical societies, as well as work with local and regional peers in accordance with local Abbott Healthcare CR policies and procedures and local laws and regulations. **What You’ll Do** + Responsible for the scientific review of studies initiated by researchers in collaboration with clinical scientists + Coordinate activities that provide clinical, dietary, and scientific support to assist sales and marketing, and product complaints. + Coordinate and provide information for reports and documents that have to be submitted to regulatory agencies where scientific information is required. + Generate scientific links with medical societies and opinion leaders to generate medical education programs, as well as consensus and therapeutic guidelines related to pediatric and adult nutrition. + Create, coordinate, and participate in continuing medical education events Ensure that all promotional materials are approved in accordance with Abbott's Code of Business Conduct and local policies and procedures, and work with the marketing department in the preparation of promotional messages and materials for nutritional products; in accordance with current PNOs and in accordance with local regulations. + Management of medical complaints, mixed and internal platforms. Submit to these complaints according to regulations of each country, the reports of Suspected Adverse Drug Reaction (SRAM), pharmacovigilance reports and PSURs to maintain the sanitary registrations of ANI products in force. + Work together with the quality area to resolve mixed complaints. Coordination with global and regional pharmacovigilance, responding to requests for updates of local SOPs, making the required reports and attending in a timely manner to global pharmacovigilance requirements. + Support in audits with all the requested requirements Support medical-scientific liaison (MSL) programs, collaborating in the detection of relevant information with HCPs, as well as validation of scientific content and medical strategies with opinion leaders. **Required Qualifications** + University Degree, Medical Practitioner, Physician. Studies in nutrition or related career in nutrition. + Minimum 2 years of industry experience in medical management, and experience in managing the country's medical affairs for at least 2 years, Proven track record in clinical research, communication, and teamwork. Expertise in nutrition is desirable with proven adult or pediatric experience. + Knowledge of current national and international regulations. + Excellent communication in Spanish and English. Fluency in English written, lecture and speak is required. + Digital skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point). Intermediated is preferred. Travel time for approximately 30% of time.
