Your Roles:

The Medical Manager plays a crucial role in advancing Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany's mission by acting as a local expert in therapeutic areas (TAs) and leading medical affairs strategies.This position involves managing medical activities, ensuring scientific accuracy, and developing educational materials to support healthcare professionals (HCPs) and internal teams.The Medical Manager also engages with key stakeholders, facilitating partnerships and communication to address unmet medical needs and enhance the company’s reputation within the medical community.By driving operational excellence and data generation, this role contributes to the organization’s commitment to innovative research and healthcare solutions.

 

Who You Are:

• Doctors' degree. OR Pharmacist

• Fluency in English (oral and written).

• Secondary/advanced scientific degree (e.g., MSc, PharmD, Ph.D., DO, MD) required

• Senior MSL, Medical Advisor, or related MNC pharmaceutical experience preferred in Oncology and / or Neurology area.

• Scientific and/or clinical training in the area of relevance to the position is strongly preferred

• Clinical or clinical research experience specific to therapeutic area preferred, advanced degree advantageous

• Substantial professional, clinical, or research experience in a scientific or related field required (minimum of 5 years)

• Knowledge of regulatory, commercial, and clinical issues affecting the industry

• Knowledge and experience of the methodology of clinical research and Good Clinical Practice required.
