Overview Pay Status: Hourly Report to: Fairweather Medical Services Manager FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Summary: The Medical logistics coordinator will be responsible for assisting the medical services manager with medical staffing operations and the medical warehouse. Jobs include but are not limited to; managing the medical schedule, supply ordering and inventory, processing invoices, coordinating shipments, and building medical kits to support medical professionals and clients. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assist Medical Services Manager with staffing and coordinating schedules for medical team and clients. Assist Medical Services Manager to cultivate and maintain effective working relationships with clients and client company’s Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) team. Assists with weekly medical calls. Assists with Case Management coordination. Assist with travel planning for the medical group and coordinates travel arrangements to include: flight reservations, cancellations, notifications, and logistics. Processing, assembling, troubleshooting, preparing, storing, and issuing sterile and unsterile medical equipment and supplies. Performs all requisitioning, receipt, inventory management, packing and shipping, disposal of controlled stock, care, segregation, and accounting of medical supplies and equipment Coordinate with clients on transportation of medical equipment to and from job location Ensure clients are accurately billed for equipment usage and consumable supplies/medications Communicate with the shipping and receiving facilities Responsible for data entry and upkeep of computerized inventory Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of technical names, general uses, physical characteristics, and operating conditions of medical supply items. Work well in teams, alone, and in diverse groups of people. Effective communication in person, written, and over the phone. Ability to establish priorities, work independently and proceed with objectives. Understand pre-hospital care Emergency Medical Service equipment. Minimum Qualifications 2 years of Logistics and Materials Management experience. Alaskan Oil and Gas industry experience preferred. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and perform under pressure. Proficient in oral and written communications. Effective interpersonal skills required to interact with both internal and external stakeholders. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, and balance an adult patient with the assistance of others. Ability to run, walk, bend, and crawl on uneven terrain. Ability to work in low light and confined spaces. Ability to operate a motor vehicle. Working Conditions: Must be willing to work overtime and be on-call as needed. Must be willing to work weekends and holidays as needed. May be required to fly in small aircrafts.
