Medical Laboratory Technician - Respiratory Therapy

 

Performs laboratory testing, cardiopulmonary procedures, and assists physicians with related procedures in the Operating Room and Intensive Care Units. Works under the direction and supervision of the Stat Lab Supervisor, Respiratory Director and/or the Medical Director over Blood Gas labs/OR STAT labs.

Preferred Qualifications:

Coursework/Training: Basic high school sciencesBachelor's Degree - Technical Consultant: Chemical, Physical, Biological, Clinical Laboratory Science or medical terminology from an accredited institutionBachelor's Degree in Respiratory Care Coursework/Training: Technical Consultant: 2 or more years of training in a non-waived/moderate complexity testing
