Work Hours: Day shift; Full-time, Monday through Friday; 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology program or equivalent science required 2 years hospital experience or Medical Laboratory experience highly preferred

License and Certification:

MLS – Medical Laboratory Scientist Certified by ASCP, AMT, HEW, HHS or NCA required upon hire OR MT (ASCP) – Medical Technologist required upon hire OR MT – Medical Technologist required upon hire

Skills

Knowledge of the principles, methods, materials, equipment and techniques of medical technology Ability to effectively prioritize and problem resolution Demonstrates the ability to analyze situations to make operational decision to meet clinical demands Demonstrates customer-focused service skills Demonstrates verbal and written communication adequately to facilitate training of laboratory and non-laboratory staff, to communicate specimen collection, effective handle requirements and provide assistance and support to laboratory and other health care staff Demonstrates effective interpersonal and organizational skills Basic computer knowledge
