Job Details

ChristianaCare is currently looking for Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to join our Medical Critical Care Team servicing 3 hospital campuses (1,300 beds) in Newark and Wilmington, DE and Elkton, MD. This is a full-time position.

The selected candidate will provide clinical management to patients in the Medical ICU with the support and collaboration by a medical intensivist as well as responding to code blues, performing ICU admissions, and managing rapid responses (Cecil campus only).

Standard Day:

Rotate through day, evening, night, weekend shiftsDay shift 10 or 12-hours, 7a-5p or 7a-7pEvening shift, 4p-2aNight shift, 7p-7a1 in 3 to 5 weekends4 off shifts (evening/night) per 4 weeks1 major and 1-2 minor holidays per year

Requirements:

Licensed or eligible for Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of Delaware and MarylandAcute Care NP license requiredPrescriptive Authority for the state of Delaware and MarylandDEA registration for the state of Delaware and MarylandACLS requiredInpatient experience a plus, but not required. New graduates are welcome to apply.
