Position Overview:

Manages finance data and databases, and maintains financial transaction systems interfaces. Builds, maintains and standardizes reporting templates across the Finance organization to ensure continuous and ad-hoc reports are completed timely and accurately. Communicates frequently with team lead and others to explain data needs, reporting templates, and interface solutions. Provides direction and training to other team members as needed. Establishes and maintains strong, collaborative relationships with customers to identify additional ways to be of service and ensure customer satisfaction. Maintains a positive and professional work relationship with all customers and members of teams across Sutter Health.

*Initial training will be onsite (anticipated for three days a week). This role has the opportunity to work from home. The person selected will be required to be onsite when requested.*

EDUCATION:

Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.Bachelor's: Business Administration, Finance, Management Information Systems or related field.


TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

5 years recent relevant experience

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

In-depth knowledge of accounting and/or finance including financial analysis and reporting methodologies, data warehousing and relational database systems and of Lawson data/tables/structuresGeneral understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and shared services enabling technologies (e.g. contact center technologies)Ability to learn new applications/software systems effectively and efficientlyAbility to translate data analysis into suitable reports for presentation and perform data analysis on complex data setsAnalytical and problem solving skillsProject management, planning, and forecasting skillsAbility to provide constructive feedback to team members to support continuous improvementAbility to process requests consistently with high level of accuracyAbility to work with, train and coach other team membersAbility to prioritize problems and promptly resolve or escalate when necessaryInterpersonal skills with the ability to work with and collaborate throughout the Sutter shared services organization as neededTime management skills and ability to manage individual assignments and complete duties within tight deadlinesDemonstrated leadership skills and the ability to provide constructive feedback to team members to support continuous improvementAbility to communicate ideas both verbally and written to influence others using one-on-one contact, formal presentations, and group discussionsEffective internal consulting skills along with the ability to positively influence others in a desired direction to achieve identified outcomes without direct lines of authority

Pay Range is $63.46 to $95.19 / hour

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
