The Position

As Medical Director, you will inspire, empower, and lead the Medical Chapter to deliver better outcomes for more patients, faster. You will be responsible for advancing scientific leadership, driving medical strategy, and strengthening governance, ensuring we meet the highest standards in medical excellence and compliance, while shaping the future of healthcare in Indonesia.

As part of the Affiliate Leadership Team, you will bring cross-functional collaboration, scientific integrity, and a systems-thinking approach to everything you do.Define and implement impactful medical strategies focused on value demonstration, evidence generation, and external engagementRepresent Roche with scientific and healthcare stakeholders, including policymakers, patient groups, and external partnersLead cross-functional integration across regulatory, clinical, quality, safety, and compliance functionsEmpower the Medical Chapter to generate local insights, conduct clinical research, and strengthen access through robust data and partnershipsUphold the highest standards in medical governance, scientific communication, and digital health complianceAct as Roche’s Chief Medical Officer delegate for Indonesia, ensuring regulatory readiness, LTO excellence, and global alignmentServe as a coach and catalyst, developing mindsets and capabilities that support an empowered, high-performing medical organization

Who You Are

You are a purpose-driven medical leader who combines clinical knowledge with strategic leadership. You are collaborative, future-focused, and passionate about science, innovation, and impact.Medical degree (MD) required; postgraduate qualifications preferred7–10+ years of Medical Affairs experience in the pharmaceutical industryProven leadership experience with the ability to inspire and develop teamsStrong expertise in clinical development, scientific communication, and medical governanceExperience in digital health, integrated evidence planning, and external stakeholder engagementDeep understanding of the Indonesian healthcare system and regulatory environmentFluent in both local healthcare needs and global scientific priorities
