Description We are looking for a skilled Medical Collections Specialist to join us on a contract basis for a 1-month assignment in Burr Ridge, Illinois. In this role, you will focus on managing aged infusion medical claims, ensuring timely resolution of denied or delayed insurance claims. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with prior experience in medical collections to contribute their expertise in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Responsibilities: • Manage collections on aged medical claims, specifically focused on infusion services. • Investigate and resolve insurance claim denials and delays, ensuring accurate follow-up. • Communicate with insurance carriers to facilitate timely payment of outstanding claims. • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of all collection activities in the system. • Analyze claim issues and collaborate with payers to rectify discrepancies. • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and billing standards during all interactions. • Prioritize high-volume claims to meet deadlines effectively. • Support team efforts by providing insights into claim trends and resolution strategies.
