Description We are looking for a dedicated Medical Claims Analyst to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate claims processing, payment posting, and reconciliation tasks within the behavioral health sector. This position requires someone with strong attention to detail, extensive experience in medical claims, and a collaborative attitude. Responsibilities: • Review and reconcile medical claims to ensure accuracy and compliance with payer requirements. • Handle rebilling processes for denied or rejected claims to achieve resolution. • Post payments efficiently into multiple systems, maintaining accuracy in financial records. • Navigate payer portals to verify claim statuses and ensure timely processing. • Perform repetitive clerical tasks with precision and attention to detail. • Collaborate effectively with team members to maintain productivity and meet organizational goals. • Monitor and address claim denials, working towards resolution in a timely manner. • Maintain punctuality and dependability while adhering to established workflows and deadlines. Requirements • Strong expertise in unemployment claims, medical claims, and related processes. • Proven experience in handling claim denials and rebilling procedures. • Familiarity with medical billing practices and payment posting systems. • Knowledge of rejected claim resolution and payer portal navigation. • Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform clerical tasks accurately. • Dependable team player with a proactive and results-driven mindset. • Ability to work independently while adhering to deadlines and organizational standards.
