Medical Childcare Team Lead (Full-Time)
Description

As a Medical Childcare Team Lead, you will be responsible for the operation of classrooms within the Medical Childcare Service. The Team Lead will assist with hiring, training and scheduling of the center while also providing a safe environment for children we serve.

When You'll Work:

Monday - Friday work week between the hours of 7:30 am and 6pm. 

What You'll Do:

Ensure therapeutic program standards are met according to DHS and CARF standards by conducting frequent assessments of environment and structure of activities.Assist in the implementation of care plans for children to become as independent as possible through skill development and retention. Ensure staff follow all aspects of the care plan, to include nursing, therapy, and behavior support.Ensure that daily and other necessary communication with families occurs accurately in timely, consistent, and professional manner. Provide direct care in classrooms as neededRecruit, select, and hire qualified direct care staff. Ensure staff meet DHS requirements and on-site records are maintained and monitor staff training compliance.Ensure staff are trained to implement all aspects of care plans.Support intake, referral, and growth management processes.Maintain knowledge of all compliance regulations and accreditation standards and ensures that rooms operate in accordance with such.Recommend and participate in quality improvement activities.

What You'll Need:

Bachelor's degree in education, human services, or relevant field.2 years' experience serving children, preferably children with disabilities.Preferred: Meet DHS requirements for center director based on childcare regulationsPreferred: 1 year supervisory experience.
