Medical Biller – Healthcare Claims Specialist
Location: Hybrid in Dallas, TX (In-office Tues–Thurs, Remote Mon/Fri)
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

Overview:
Our partner, a growing medical device company, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Biller to join their team. This role is essential to ensuring accurate and timely claim submissions, payment posting, and resolution of payer rejections and denials. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial Insurance billing, particularly in the DME/HME space.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Submit claims via Niko Health and Salesforce to Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial payers.
+ Post payments and denials from EOBs, ensuring accurate processing across billing systems.
+ Investigate and resolve payer rejections and denials, identifying root causes and recommending prevention strategies.
+ Route uncollectible claims to appropriate queues (Financial Patient Responsibility Review or Write-Off).
+ Provide high-level support for billing inquiries from patients, providers, and internal teams.
+ Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency.
+ Assist with special projects and other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
+ Minimum 2 years of experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and/or Commercial Insurance billing (HME/DME preferred).
+ Strong understanding of payer guidelines and regulatory compliance.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce (preferred).
+ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
+ High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
+ Solutions-oriented with strong organizational and planning abilities.
+ Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
