Description A respected outpatient healthcare provider in San Marcos is seeking a skilled and dependable Medical Biller to join their billing department. This role is essential to ensuring timely reimbursements, accurate claims processing, and compliance with payer requirements. Key Responsibilities: + Submit claims to insurance companies and government payers + Verify patient insurance and eligibility prior to billing + Review and correct claim errors and resubmit as needed + Post payments and reconcile EOBs + Follow up on unpaid claims and manage denials and appeals + Maintain accurate billing records and support audits + Communicate with patients and providers regarding billing inquiries Requirements + 2+ years of medical billing experience in an outpatient or clinical setting + Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding + Experience with billing software (e.g., Kareo, Athenahealth, or Epic) + Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills + Strong communication and follow-up abilities + Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
