Description Robert Half is seeking a proactive and experienced Medical Biller for a specialty healthcare client in Carlsbad, CA. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working independently, has a strong grasp of medical billing procedures, and is committed to maintaining accuracy and compliance in all aspects of the billing cycle. Key Responsibilities: + Generate and submit claims for a multi-provider specialty practice + Ensure proper coding and documentation for services rendered + Track claim status and follow up on outstanding balances + Resolve claim rejections and denials through appeals and corrections + Post insurance and patient payments, including EOB reconciliation + Prepare patient statements and manage collections process + Maintain compliance with payer contracts and billing regulations + Assist with credentialing and payer enrollment updates + Support monthly reporting and revenue analysis Requirements + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in medical billing + 2–3 years of billing experience in a specialty or outpatient setting + Familiarity with QuickBooks and medical billing software + Strong knowledge of insurance billing guidelines and coding standards + Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills + Ability to work independently and manage time effectively + Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
