Robert Half is seeking Medical Billers on an ongoing basis for roles within healthcare organizations located throughout the Twin Cities. Key Responsibilities: + Prepare, review, and submit accurate medical claims to insurance companies, Medicare, or Medicaid. + Process claim denials and work with insurance providers to resolve discrepancies and rejections. + Ensure all patient billing, coding, and claims submissions comply with regulations and standards. + Reconcile accounts, process payments, and follow up on outstanding balances. + Collaborate with healthcare providers, administrative staff, and insurance companies regarding billing inquiries. + Maintain the confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA guidelines. + Stay updated on healthcare billing trends, regulations, and coding changes, such as ICD-10 and CPT updates Requirements What You Bring to the Table: + Proven experience as a Medical Biller or similar role within a healthcare or medical facility. + Proficiency in medical billing software and electronic health record (EHR) systems. + Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding. + Strong attention to detail and ability to verify accuracy in billing records. + Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. + Strong communication skills for interacting with patients, insurance providers, and internal teams. + Certification in billing and coding (e.g., CPC, CMRS) is a plus but not required How to Apply: Submit your resume today and let Robert Half help connect you with a Medical Biller role that fits your skills and professional goals.
