SynergenX is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant (MA) to support our Telemedicine Services team from our corporate office in Northwest Houston. This onsite role is essential to the success of our telehealth program, acting as a key liaison between patients, remote providers, clinic-based staff, and support teams. The MA will help ensure patients receive seamless, high-quality care by managing telehealth follow-ups, preparing documentation, relaying lab results, and maintaining open communication across departments.\n

Key Responsibilities:\n\n\n

Serve as the primary contact for SynergenX's telemedicine services\n\n\n

Support delivery of clinical care requiring telemedicine follow-up\n\n\n

Coordinate care with telehealth providers, clinic teams, and internal departments\n\n\n

Relay normal lab values and basic health education to patients\n\n\n

Respond to patient inquiries within scope; escalate clinical questions as needed\n\n\n

Maintain professional, timely communication with patients and healthcare teams\n\n\n

Document all patient interactions accurately in the electronic health record (EHR)\n\n\n

Schedule follow-up appointments and process payments when necessary\n\n\n

Track and resolve outstanding patient concerns or issues\n\n\n

Communicate clinical or operational concerns to the Telehealth Supervisor\n\n\n

Uphold the highest standards of patient confidentiality, care, and professionalism\n\n\n

Qualifications:\n\n\n

Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program\n\nHighschool diploma or GED is a requirement.\n\n

Prior telemedicine or remote care coordination experience is a plus\n\n\n

Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills\n\n\n

Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a team environment\n\n\n

Proficient in EHR systems and standard computer applications\n\n\n

Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information with discretion\n\n\n

Working Conditions:\n\n\n

Onsite position based at our Northwest Houston corporate office\n\n\n

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM\n\n\n

May require occasional follow-up beyond regular business hours\n\n\n

Position involves prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and computer use\n\n\n
