**SUMMARY OF POSITION:**
Responsible for providing assistance with various health care services, for obtaining specimens, for conducting routine lab studies of specimens, and for assisting with administrative functions such as coordinating patient flow and scheduling appointments and phone messages.

At our clinic, we provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a dynamic and supportive environment. We're open Monday through Friday, offering consistent 8-hour shifts to support a healthy work-life balance.
Our team consists of skilled Medical Assistants and LPNs/RNs, working together to care for a diverse patient population, ranging from newborns to seniors. We specialize in a variety of surgical procedures—including breast reductions, cyst removals, facial trauma care, and much more—all under insurance-based coverage (no cosmetic procedures).
With two fully equipped mini-ORs on-site, we perform a variety of procedures using local anesthesia, ensuring a fast and comfortable experience for our patients. Our clinical staff plays an integral role in assisting during these procedures, gaining hands-on experience in the OR and fostering teamwork and growth.
On any given day, we see between 15-55 patients, offering plenty of opportunity for learning, growth, and making a direct impact on our patients' lives.
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):**
+ High School diploma or equivalent required.
+ Must meet current eligibility to sit for the exam with attainment of certification or registration through one of the Penn State Health approved agencies for Medical Assistants within 90-days of employment date or current active status as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through one of the Penn State Health approved agencies for Medical Assistant certification required.
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or must obtain BLS Certification within 6 months of employment date.
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):**
+ Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program
+ Previous outpatient experience preferred.
+ Previous experience assisting with procedures or in the operating room
+ At least 6 months of hands-on experience in the care of surgical patients
