Job Description:The Medical Assistant, a member of the nursing team, assists the physician and other nursing personnel in the delivery of primary health care and patient care management. The medical assistant reports directly to the practice manager, RN supervisor, or Director.

Education:

Completion of Medical Assistant Program - Accredited - Required

High School Graduate or Equivalent - Preferred

Experience:

3 years Healthcare - Medical Assistant - Required

Healthcare - Electronic Health Records - Required

Medical Office - Required

3 years Healthcare - Healthcare Administration - Preferred

Certifications/Licensures:

BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association - Required

​Skills:

Precise and detailed communication, verbal and effective documentation.

Knowledge of organizational policies, procedures, systems and objectives.

Work Shift:08.0 - 08:30 - 17:00 No Waive (United States of America)

Pay Range:

$34.83 - $47.01Hourly

Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area.
Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word ‘exempt’ on it.
