Under the guidance of our awesome clinic leadership team, alongside a dedicated preceptor and your MCC instructors, you’ll be diving into both the clinical _and_ administrative sides of healthcare. You’ll play a key role in helping our patients feel welcome and cared for from admission to discharge, all while soaking up real-world knowledge and experience. And the best part? You’ll have the opportunity to move into a full-time Medical Assistant position (based on availability) after graduation—with the expectation to get certified within 3 months post-program. **What You’ll Be Doing:** + Delivering patient care under the direction of physicians + Supporting both clinical and administrative functions + Collecting and documenting health information during admission and discharge + Assisting with procedures and incorporating patient education into care + Providing an excellent patient experience from start to finish **What You Bring to the Table:** + High school diploma or equivalent + Willingness to complete Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire + Comfortable performing POCT, immunizations, and injections + A true team player who can problem-solve and prioritize on the fly + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail + A passion for providing outstanding customer service + Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills Apply now and take your first steps toward an amazing healthcare career with us! **Working at University Health is about making a difference.
