Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support a well-established healthcare group in Redlands, CA. This role will work closely with an Internal Medicine/Family Practice physician, who sees approximately 18 patients daily, with occasional pediatric cases.
The Medical Assistant will be responsible for:
Rooming patients, taking vitals, and triaging
Managing in-basket tasks, including message review and routing
Handling prescription refills and responding to referral inquiries
Delivering high-quality patient care via in-person, phone, and electronic communication for exams, treatments, monitoring, and diagnostic preparation
Collecting and accurately documenting patient information
Assisting with procedures such as injections, EKGs, and phlebotomy
Coordinating patient care per physician direction and company protocols
Managing phone calls and messages with thorough documentation
Ensuring complete and concise EMR and paper-based documentation
Preparing and sanitizing exam rooms, setting up instruments and equipment per infection control standards

Skills and Requirements
Medical Assistant Diploma or certification
BLS Certificate from American Heart Association
High School diploma or GED
1+ year of experience as a medical assistant Experience with Epic EMR system
Bilingual English and Spanish
Experience working within Family Practices/ Internal medicine null
