Overview:

We are currently hiring for a 2nd shift Medical Assistant for a long term contract in Newport News, VA.

Description:

This role will support the health providers in the Clinic.The employee will perform various clinical and administrative duties such as but not limited to:Room setup for patients.Set up equipment and instruments.Maintaining sterile technique as required.Assist providers with performing, exams and procedures.Collect data/initiate/complete EMR and help process paperwork.Provide instructions to patients/employees.Sterilize equipment.Measures vital signs.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent.4 years additional education and/or experience.Work independently; Punctual; Team player; EMR (Electronic Medical Record) preferred; Medical background/terminology.

Additional Information:

2nd Shift: 3:30pm-12am, Monday-Friday.Pay Rate: $22-$28/hr.Benefits offered.12+ month contract.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
