The Medical Assistant performs patient care and administrative/clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

· Specimen Collection & Preparation

· Collect blood, urine, or tissue samples (if trained or certified)

· Label and process specimens to ensure proper identification and handling

· Conducting Laboratory Tests

· Perform routine and specialized lab tests using microscopes, analyzers, and other instruments

· Follow established protocols and quality standards

· Data Recording & Analysis

· Document and analyze test results accurately

· Report results to the appropriate provider or supervisor for review

· Equipment Operation & Maintenance

· Operate, calibrate, and maintain lab equipment

· Troubleshoot basic equipment issues · Quality Control & Compliance · Monitor tests for accuracy and validity

Education
High School or Equivalent

Certification/Licensure
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), EMT Basic Certification (EMT) within the state(s) of practice.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay rate for Full Time employment is:$16.92 - $25.38. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
