We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. Under the direction of the clinic supervisor, this role plays a vital part in supporting patient care by preparing exam rooms, assisting providers, and ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for every patient.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare patient exam rooms and equipment using aseptic and sterile techniquesEscort patients to exam rooms, obtain vital signs and brief medical historiesPerform clinical procedures including immunizations, injections, venipuncture, and urinalysisAssist providers during patient exams and proceduresGreet and register patients, manage referrals and authorizationsSchedule appointments and ancillary tests accuratelyAnswer and route incoming phone calls, taking and distributing messagesMaintain clean, stocked, and organized exam roomsQualificationsMedical Assistant degree and certification (externship required) 2+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant if not actively certified EPIC experience preferredStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environmentWork Environment
This is a first-shift, full-time position in a clinic or hospital setting. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a one-hour variance in start and end times.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.50/hr.
