Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our urgent care clinic team. This role involves performing essential medical assistant duties and supporting the clinic in delivering high-quality healthcare services.
ResponsibilitiesCollect and record patient demographics based on symptoms.Utilize electronic health records to manage medical information.Measure and record patient vitals accurately.Provide exceptional customer service in a healthcare setting.Assist with front desk operations and patient inquiries.Essential SkillsProficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.Strong understanding of medical terminology.Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment.Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in an urgent care clinic.BLS certification is desirable.Additional Skills & QualificationsMA diploma or certification preferred.Minimum of 1 year experience in a fast-paced clinic is preferred.RMA certification is an advantage.Work Environment
The position is onsite at a primary care clinic, managing 20 to 30 patients daily. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
