Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and patient-oriented Certified Medical Assistants to join our Telehealth program project. This fully remote position involves assisting patients by providing support and guidance on using their kits. You will handle inbound calls, deliver exceptional customer service, and ensure the accurate collection of patients' vitals. This role requires empathy, efficiency, and accuracy in a high-volume, remote environment.
ResponsibilitiesAssist patients with the use of their kits and answer any queries they may have.Handle inbound calls and provide exceptional customer service.Ensure accurate collection and documentation of patient vitals.Utilize telehealth platforms and electronic health records (EHR) systems effectively.Operate independently and manage time efficiently in a remote setting.Essential SkillsActive Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification from AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT.Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CMA.Strong customer service skills with effective and empathetic communication.Proficiency in telehealth platforms and EHR systems.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Tech-savvy with the ability to work with computers independently.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience in a telehealth or remote healthcare setting is preferred.Bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not required.Reliable internet connection and a quiet, dedicated workspace for HIPAA privacy.Work Environment
This is a 100% remote position, allowing CMAs to be located anywhere in the U.S., operating on Eastern Time Zone. Candidates must have a private, enclosed office space in their home, free from distractions, to maintain HIPAA privacy. Work is not permitted outside the home (e.g., coffee shop, library). The schedule is Monday through Friday, no weekends, no holidays, with shifts from 8am to 4:30pm EST or 12pm to 8pm EST. Training classes last about a week from 9am to 5:30pm EST before transitioning to assigned shifts.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
