Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration: **Type:** One-month temporary contract **Schedule:** Monday – Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM **Pay:** $20.00 to $24.00 an hour **Specialty:** Pediatrics **Responsibilities of the** **Medical Assistant:** · Deliver high-quality patient care through face-to-face, telephone, and electronic contact for examination, treatment, monitoring, and preparation for diagnostic tests or procedures. · Collect and document patient information, including vital signs, chief complaint, review of medications, allergies, health risk screen information, the status of extended care benefits, and other services. · Assist physicians and nursing personnel with injections, EKGs, phlebotomy, and other patient care procedures as directed. · Coordinate patient care as directed by physicians, company standards, and policies. · Assist with tasks, phone calls, and messages; document all actions taken. · Proper, concise, and complete EMR documentation and paper-based documentation for all assessments and procedures. · Prepare and clean patient rooms and set up instruments and equipment according to protocol while maintaining infection control. **Qualifications for the** **Medical Assistant:** · Medical Assistant Certification · High school graduate or GED equivalent · 1+ years of Medical Assistant experience · EPIC EMR experience preferred · Bilingual in English and Spanish also preferred **Why work for Adecco?** · Weekly Pay · 401(k) Plan · Skills Training · Excellent medical, dental, and vision benefits Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
