Job Description
The Patient Care Coordinator functions as a member of the patient care team, performing clinical tasks and procedures to support the delivery of care and promote efficient use of the physician's time. Additionally, this role involves clerical duties required for patient check-in/check-out and assists patients in obtaining timely services, ensuring efficient utilization of the physician's appointment schedule.
ResponsibilitiesAdminister and coordinate referrals and service authorization processes.Perform rooming duties and other clinic front desk activities.Room approximately 25 patients daily, taking vitals and supporting care coordination.Schedule appointments with multiple departments and handle prior authorization with medication.Essential SkillsPossession of a Medical Assistant Certification.At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.Proficiency in rooming and taking vitals.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with EPIC is advantageous.Demonstrates initiative and motivation.Strong team player.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
